The other day I released an audiobook recording of Sigmund Freud's 1915 paper entitled "Repression". This is a seminal paper outlining his theory on repression. The lecture is about thirteen pages in length and it was made in Freud's home city of Vienna. In yesterday's video I read the paper, however, understanding this paper can be difficult unless you are very familiar with psychoanalytic thought. In this video entitled '"study notes" I read the paper and then I stop on a regular basis to explain and explore themes in this paper. Yesterday's video is ideal if you simply want to hear the lecture and today's video is ideal if you want to understand it at a deeper level.
